As part of its quality assurance procedures Carewatch Wyvern surveys all its clients annually. The survey takes the form of an anonymous questionnaire which clients are invited to complete and return.
Carewatch Wyvern uses these results to monitor its performance and to highlight any areas where the service could benefit from amendments or improvements to operations.
In November 2009 Carewatch Wyvern surveyed 80 clients and received 40 responses. The following charts detail the key findings.
... with the service they receive from Carewatch..
...that personal information is handled sensitively and confidentially.
...the Care Workers providing care have been trained and are competent to meet their particular needs.
...their Care Workers are courteous.
...their Care Workers respect their privacy and dignity when carrying out personal care tasks. Only 2% disagree.
...that their Care Workers arrive at the specified time.
... that their Care Workers stay and work the specified amount of time.
...that their Care Workers consult them about any particular needs they have at each visit.
...that their Care Workers encourage them to do as much as possible for themselves.
...they are informed if their Care Worker is going to be late. 10% stated this was not the case.
...if they are going to receive a different Care Worker.
...that if they contact the office, their calls are dealt with promptly and courteously.
We are very pleased to receive such overwhelmingly positive feedback from our clients. However, we have noted that there are some areas where we need to improve and we will be focusing our attention and efforts over the next 12 months to ensure that these areas are addressed.
We hope that the results of our next survey will show the progress we make.
